Collectible Store is proud to present, Waymond Lane "Hut" Stricklin, is a former NASCAR race car driver. In 1987, Stricklin won NASCAR's Dash Series Championship. The next year, he made his debut in NASCAR Winston Cup. In 2002, Stricklin struggled and was soon released. That was the last year in which he competed in a NASCAR race. He now owns Stricklin Auto & Truck Parts in Cleveland, North Carolina. Stricklin was a stunt driver for the movie Days of Thunder. The piece is a 9x12 horizontal cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in black ink by Hut Stricklin and is centered in a black mat. A golden name plate is centered next to the card with the engraving in black letters “Hut Stricklin NASCAR Race Car Driver Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque.
