He was the Republican nominee for Vice President in the 1960 Presidential election. The piece is a 14x18 placed in a 17x21 horizontal black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 black and white photo and a 5.5x6.5 typed letter by Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. dated March 10, 1969 is hand signed in blue ink and is centered in a black mat with gray borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Henry Cabot Lodge , Jr. Republican United States Senator From Massachusetts & U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, South Vietnam, West Germany & Holy See.” The Certificate of Authentication (COA) is from P.A.A.S # MF 15200 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 5 pounds.
