Collectible Store is proud to present, Harmon Clayton Killebrew ( June 29, 1936 May 17, 2011), nicknamed "Killer" and "Hammerin' Harmon", was an American professional baseball first baseman, third baseman, and left fielder. During his 22-year career in Major League Baseball (MLB), he played for the Washington Senators (who later became the Minnesota Twins), and for the final season of his career, the Kansas City Royals. Killebrew was a prolific power hitter who, at the time of his retirement, was second only to Babe Ruth in American League (AL) home runs and was the AL career leader in home runs by a right-handed batter (since broken by Alex Rodriguez). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. The piece is a 12x15 horizontal cherry wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 color photo of Harmon Killebrew is hand signed in black ink and has a golden clock to the top right of the plaque. A black name plate is beside the principal photo with the engraving in gold letters Harmon Killebrew " Killer " Hall of Fame 1971". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque.
