Collectible Store is proud to present, Gorkys Gustavo Hernández, is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder in the Chicago White Sox organization. On May 18, 2012, he was called up to the big league club. He made his major league debut on May 21, and struck out as a pinch hitter. On May 27, he got his first major league hit, a 2-run single off Chicago Cubs pitcher Michael Bowden. Hernández was called the fifth-best prospect in the Atlanta Braves organization by Baseball America. On June 3, 2009, the Braves traded Hernández to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 card is hand signed in blue ink by Gorkys Hernandez and is centered in a black mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Gorkys Hernandez Pirates Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS.
