Lindros played junior hockey in the OHL for the Oshawa Generals prior to being selected first overall in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques. Lindros refused to play for the Nordiques and was eventually traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in June 1992 for a package of players and draft picks including Peter Forsberg. During his OHL career, Lindros led the Generals to a Memorial Cup victory in 1990. Prior to being drafted in 1991, Lindros captured the Red Tilson Trophy as the Most Outstanding Player in the OHL, and also was named the CHL Player of the Year. The piece is 12x20 placed in a 15x23 vertical black wooden shadowbox with 2 inches in depth with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph, photo and hockey puck. An 8x10 color photograph of Eric Lindros is centered in a red mat with white borders. On the center of the mat there is a hand signed hockey puck in silver ink and below the puck there is a silver name plate with the engraving in black letters "Eric Lindros All-Star Center Canada". The Certificate of Authentication is from P.A.A.S #MF12915 and is enclosed in the envelope attached to the back of the shadow box. The shadow box includes a wire to hang. The piece weighs 5 pounds
