The Collectible Store is proud to present "Russian Tennis Players" Elena Dementieva and Anna Kournikova. Elena Dementieva is a retired Russian tennis player. She won the singles gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, having previously won the silver medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. She won 16 WTA singles titles, reached the finals of the 2004 French Open and 2004 US Open and reached seven other Grand Slam semi finals. Anna Kournikova is a Russian American retired professional tennis player. Her appearance and celebrity status made her one of the best known tennis stars worldwide, despite her never winning a WTA singles title. Despite her lack of a title, she reached Nº8 in the world in 2000. She achieved greater success playing doubles, where she was at times the World Nº1 player. The Piece is 9 x 12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque. A clear acrylic was used to protect two sport cards (2½ x 3½); Elena on top left and Anna on the bottom right side, are placed on a white mat with golden borders around the cards. The piece also has the inscription "Russian Tennis Players" written in golden ink. The copy of the certified card by Netpro, is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque. It includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
