Collectible Store is proud to present Ed Kranepool. Edward Emil Kranepool, is a former first baseman who spent his entire Major League Baseball career with the New York Mets. After batting a combined .301 at three levels of the Mets' minor league system in 1962, Kranepool received a September call-up in just his first professional season. At age 17, Kranepool was six years younger than the next-youngest '62 Met. The piece is a 8x10 placed in a 10x12 vertical cherry wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 color sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Ed Kranepool and is centered in a black mat with white borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Ed Kranepool 1969 World Series Champion New York Mets Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram #CM12833 and is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
