Collectible Store is proud to present, Edward Emil Kranepool is a former first baseman who spent his entire Major League Baseball career with the New York Mets. Born in the Bronx, New York, Kranepool attended James Monroe High School, where he began playing baseball and basketball. Mets' scout Bubber Jonnard signed Kranepool in 1962 at the age of seventeen as an amateur free agent. The piece is 14x24 placed in a 17½ x27½ vertical black wooden shadowbox with 6 inches in depth.Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autographed baseball glove and photo. A brown Rawlings baseball glove, hand signed in black ink by Ed Kranepool is centered in the bottom part of the shadowbox in a blue mat with orange borders. The piece also includes an 8x10 color photo of Ed Kranepool centered on the top section of the mat. A gold colored name plate is positioned below the glove with the engraving in black letters "Ed Kranepool New York Mets 1969 World Series Champions". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from PAAS hologram # MF 13117 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the shadowbox.
