The Collectible Store is proud to present,Edward Emil Kranepool is a former first baseman who spent his entire Major League Baseball career with the New York Mets. Born in the Bronx, New York, Kranepool attended James Monroe High School, where he began playing baseball and basketball. Mets' scout Bubber Jonnard signed Kranepool in 1962 at the age of seventeen as an amateur free agent. Derrel McKinley "Bud" Harrelson is a former Major League Baseball shortstop who played for the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Texas Rangers from 1965 to 1980. After retiring, he served as a coach for the World Champion 1986 Mets, and as manager of the Mets in 1990 and 1991. He was inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 1986. The piece is 22x28 placed in a 25x31 vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. A 17x23 color poster of Joe DiMaggio hand signed in black ink by Ed Kranepool & Bud Harrelson is centered in a navy blue mat with white borders around the poster. A gold colored name plate is positioned below the poster with the engraving in black letters "Ed Kranepool & Bud Harrelson 1969 World Series Champions New York Mets". The Certificate of Authentication from P.A.A.S with hologram # MF13086 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece wieght 9 pounds.
