Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial. Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider, nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963), and San Francisco Giants (1964). The piece is a matted 11 x 14, placed on a 13 x 16 vertical metallic bronze styrene frame with one inch in depth with glass . Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autographs and photos. A 5 x 7 vertical color lithograph of Mantle/ Mays/Snider, hand signed, two in blue ink and one black ink are placed in a black mat with white borders on the frame. The piece also includes three 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 vertical photos of Mantle, Mays and Snider . A name card is positioned below the signed lithograph with the inscription in black ink “Baseball Immortals - Mantle/ Mays/Snider Hall of Fame -1974-1979-1980”. The certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 03716 is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the frame . It includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The frame weighs 1½ pound.
