Edwin Donald "Duke" Snider, nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963), and San Francisco Giants (1964).The piece is a 9x12 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 5x7 black and white action photo of Duke Snider, hand signed in blue ink is centered in a black mat with white borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Duke Snider Hall of Fame-1980”.
