Day is an advocate for animal rights and founded several organizations devoted to the cause. The piece is a 12x16 placed in a 14x18 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. An 8x10 black and white photo is centered in a black mat with white borders on the frame. A cut card is hand signed in black ink by Doris Day and is placed below the photo. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Doris Day American Film & Television Actress, Singer & Animal Rights Activist”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from PAAS #MF15053 are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back.
