Nicknamed "The Dream", Defiagbon fought for Canada and won the heavyweight silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 1992 in Barcelona at the Summer Olympics he represented Nigeria and was eliminated in the first round of the light middleweight division (7 to 8 against Raúl Márquez). The piece is a 11x14 placed in a 13x16 horizontal solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 color photo is hand signed in blue ink by David Defiagbon and is centered in a black mat with red borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “David Defiagbon "The Dream" Retired Nigerian Boxer Won Heavyweight Silver Medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics”.
