The last quarterback of the Quarterback Class of 1983 to be taken in the first round, Marino held or currently holds dozens of NFL records associated with the quarterback position. Despite never being on a Super Bowl-winning team, he is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in American football history. Best remembered for his quick release and powerful arm, Marino led the Dolphins to the playoffs ten times in his seventeen-season career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005. The piece is a matted 8 x 10, placed in a 10 x 12 vertical black styrene frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4 x 6 vertical color action photo of Dan Marino holding a football ball, hand signed in black ink is centered with black mat and white borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink “Dan Marino Hall of Fame - 2005”.The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L.
