Collectible Store is proud to present, Chester R. Bender (March 14, 1914 – July 20, 1996) served as the fourteenth Commandant of the United States Coast Guard from 1970 to 1974. He also served as Superintendent of the Coast Guard Academy from 1965 to 1967. The piece is 11x14 placed in a 13x16 vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass.Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection glass was used to protect the piece. An 8x10 black and white photo of Chester R. Bender, hand signed in black ink is centered in a navy blue mat with grey borders around the photo. A gold colored name plate is centered below the photo with the engraving in black letters "Chester R. Bender" followed by a brief description of his accomplishments. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from JG Autographs SKU #1130992-1 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
