Henry, was drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round (17th overall) of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft and signed, receiving a $1.6 million bonus. He played for the Gulf Coast Yankees and Charleston RiverDogs, before being traded by the Yankees to the Philadelphia Phillies. Henry played for the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Phillies' organization, but was released following the 2007 season. Following his continuing baseball struggles, Henry quit baseball and returned to basketball. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in blue ink by C.J. Henry and is centered in a black mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters C.J. Henry Yankees Authentic Signature. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS. A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
