Collectible Store is proud to present Brian Barton. Brian Deion Barton, is a Major League Baseball outfielder, who is currently with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. After the 2007 season, the Indians did not add him to the 40-man roster, leaving him unprotected for the Rule 5 draft. Rumors arose that Barton was going to be selected first by the Tampa Bay Rays and then subsequently traded to the San Diego Padres. This did not happen however as the Rays took pitcher Tim Lahey from the Minnesota Twins. Barton was then selected by the St. Louis Cardinals with the 10th pick. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 color sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Brian Barton and is centered in a red mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Brian Barton Cardinals Authentic Signature”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS. A copy of the back of card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
