Collectible Store is proud to present, Robert Donald Cabana (born January 23, 1949) is the director of NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center, a NASA astronaut, and a veteran of four Space Shuttle flights. He is also a former Naval Flight Officer and Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps. Selected by NASA as an astronaut candidate in June 1985, Cabana completed initial astronaut training in July 1986, qualifying for assignment as a pilot on future Space Shuttle flight crews. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 card is hand signed in black ink by Bob Cabana and is centered in a bright blue mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters Bob Cabana Director of NASA's Kennedy's Space Center Authentic Signature. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque.
