The Collectible Store is proud to present,, Billy Martin .  Alfred Manuel "Billy" Martin, Jr. was an American Major League Baseball second baseman and manager. He is best known as the manager of the New York Yankees, a position he held five different times. As Yankees manager, he led the team to consecutive American League pennants in 1976 and 1977; the Yankees were swept in the 1976 World Series by the Cincinnati Reds but triumphed over the Los Angeles Dodgers in six games in the 1977 World Series. He also had notable managerial tenures with several other AL squads, leading four of them to division championships. The piece is an 8 x 10 , placed on  a  10x12 vertical solid black styrene frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4x6 color action photo of Billy Martin throwing a baseball hand signed in blue ink is centered in a black mat with white border around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Billy Martin “Battling Billy”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame.
