Billy Herman Black and White Photograph Authentic Signatures 240010

Collectible Store is proud to present, William Jennings Bryan "Billy" Herman (July 7, 1909 – September 5, 1992) was an American second baseman in Major League Baseball (MLB) during the 1930s and 1940s. He was known for his stellar defense and consistent batting. He still holds many National League (NL) defensive records for second basemen.  After a sub-standard offensive year in 1940, Herman was traded to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1941. He had one of his finest offensive season in 1943, when he batted .330 with a .398on-base percentage and 100 runs driven in.  He was inducted into the National Base Hall of Fame in 1975. The piece is a 12 x 14, placed on a 14 x 16 vertical sherry styrene frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. The frame includes a gray mat around the photo.  An 8 x 10 black and white photo is signed in blue ink by Billy Herman and a gold name plate below "Billy Herman - Dodgers HOF".  The Certificate of Authentication is from PSA/DNA No. D13386.  It includes a vertical frame holder; the frame weighs 2 lbs.
