 Product Description

The Collectible Store is proud to present, William Earl Casper, Jr. (born June 24, 1931) is an American professional golfer who was one of the most prolific tournament winners on the PGA Tour from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s. Casper had 51 PGA Tour wins in his career, with his first coming in 1956. This total places him seventh on the all time list. His victories helped him finish third in McCormack's World Golf Rankings in 1968, 1969 and 1970, the first three years they were published. He won three major championships: the 1959 and 1966 U.S. Opens, and the 1970 Masters Tournament. The piece is 14x20 placed in a 17x23½ vertical black wooden shadow box. A white golf ball hand signed in black ink by Billy Casper is placed on the bottom, left side of the piece in a forest green mat with white borders around the ball. The piece also includes an 8x10 black and white action photo of Billy Casper on the golf field centered on the top section of the green mat. A black circular name plate is positioned on the right side of the piece, below the photo with the inscription in white letters "Billy Casper 3X Major Champion (1970 Masters, 1959 & '66 U.S. Open) 2x PGA Player Of The Year (1966 & 1970) World Golf Hall Of Fame 1978". The piece includes a vertical piece holder attached to the back.  P.A.A.S MF15951
