Collectible Store is proud to present, Bernard Blunt, is an American basketball player who played from 1991-1995 for Jamesville -DeWitt High School in Syracuse, NY - St. Josephs. By the end of the 1990-91 season, Blunt's first year, he had invaded Philadelphia, averaging 18.8 points, capturing first-team all-Big Five and ECAC co-rookie of the year honors, and was named a third-team freshman all-American by Basketball Weekly. Going up on a breakaway layup, Blunt fractured his right kneecap, nearly a career-ending injury. He missed the rest of the season and was redshirted for another shot at a senior season, but his game remained a year behind. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Bernard Blunt and is centered in a white mat. A golden name plate is centered below the card with the engraving in black letters “Bernard Blunt St. Josephs' Authentic Signature". The Authentication is from Basketball Rookies Autograph Edition and is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a horizontal plaque holder.
