He is best known for playing Ed Norton, oppposite Jackie Gleason's Ralph Kramden in the situation comedy The Honeymooners, and for winning the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Harry and Tonto. The piece is an 14x14 placed in a 17x17 vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. An 8x10 black and white photo is hand signed in black ink by Art Carney and is centered in black mat with gray borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered across the bottom of the photo with the engraving in black letters "Art Carney - Actor in Film, Stage, Televsion and Radio, Academy Award Winner for Best Actor in 1974 "Harry and Tonto". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from P.A.A.S. #MF12289 and is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame.
